In the middle of September we once again visited Banff National Park
in the Canadian Rockies - for one week.
The weather wasn't that great - and it was chilly, too.
The photos at least give a rough overview
of the beauty and some sights there.
Arrival and onward flight to Las Vegas each via Calgary

The journey to Banff in Canada worked out excellently.
Monday, 9/14, with Ryanair Tenerife --> Dublin.
Tuesday, 9/15, with American Airlins Dublin --> Chicago --> Calgary.
Wednesday, 9/16, by car to Banff (1.5 hrs) - pure sun, about 23 degrees.
Small city tour, with the cable car to the lookout mountain (2300m) - excellent panoramic view.
Finally drove to nearby lakes and walked around a bit to adjust to the time difference.
Then shopped for the next days hikes,
also cornflakes for the squirrels . . .

Donnerstag, 17. September
Regen bis zum frühen Nachmittag, an Fotowanderung nicht zu denken.
Wir waren trotzdem am Moraine-Lake und am bekannten Lake Louise.
Bei der Rückfahrt nach Banff klart es auf - wir hoffen auf Freitag!
Zum Schluss Shopping in Banff und beim Thai gut zu Abend gegessen!

Friday, September 18.
It is cool in the morning, about 13° with light clouds.
We hike up Johnston Canyon: canyons and waterfalls.
A bird intrudes on breakfast and eats the crumbs from our hands.
Then we went to Morain Lake, but it was again covered by many clouds.
