Saturday, September 19:
Sunny morning - off at 8am towards Bow and Peyto Lake.
The viewpoint over Peyto Lake is 300m above the lake.
We descended to hike to the Peyto Glacier - when we were down, rain moved in. Therefore abort and back up in a hurry!

Sonntag, 20. September
Heute früh waren es 6 Grad bei Schauerwetter - genau das, was man auf Reisen so wünscht.
Wir sind deshalb nur um Banff herum etwas gelaufen und haben bei jedem Sonnenstrahl
die Kamera unter der Regenjacke hervorgeholt.
Deshalb gibt es ein paar Panos von Gestern und einige Banff-Bilder.

Monday, September 21
We make another attempt to hike to the Peyto Glacier. It was freezing cold - below 10 degrees.
We were on the road for 7.5 hours, walked 10 km and climbed 770m of elevation -
that was enough.
At the end we saw a mother bear with a cub 100m away!

Tuesday, September 22
After we hiked hard yesterday, today on the way back to Calgary (we fly on to Las Vegas tomorrow) we made a big round trip through the gorgeous Rockies in best weather -
for insiders: Hwy. 40 from Canmore to the south.
In the evening we landed at the Holiday Inn, Calgary, which we have to leave on
Wednesday morning at 6 a.m, to drive to the airport.
